By participating in the competition of the Best Technological Innovation for 2020, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the functioning of the SAFEOMATIC device was confirmed at the Technical Review by professors from the faculty.
SAFEOMATIC connects to your car and transfers the recorded data to your mobile device
SAFEOMATIC simply connects to the car and sends all data to the mobile phone via Bluetooth. The device collects and records all data on driving style, which actively influences:
- reducing the risk of traffic accidents,
- forming good driving habits,
- saving money due to optimized driving style.
PLUS: Innovative car theft protection with the purchase of another device.
When collecting data, SAFEOMATIC does not record location data, which does not violate the privacy of users.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The data is collected by the user reading the data on the phone via bluetooth, approaching the car with the phone or entering the car with the activated bluetooth connection, launching the application and starting the synchronization of the data that is automatically loaded into the phone.
By selecting the period from the calendar for which he wants to view the data, he can simply compare and get an overview of where and what he can change in the driving style.
The device reads data from the car in real time and generates new data based on this data:
Mileage with an accuracy of 1.06% to 3%
Predicts the state of the battery based on the measured value of voltage and voltage drop per unit time
Registers sudden braking
Time and date of start and end of each ride
Number of brakes (speed change of 10km / h for 2 sec, without increasing speed)
Service intervals, small and large service based on mileage and driving style
Predicts on the basis of kilometers traveled, type of driving, city – highway intervals for changing tires
Engine faults according to OBD2 standard (further development on UUDS unified diagnostic services, WWH)
The device is universal, provides the same functionality for all cars, does not depend on the car manufacturer. Autonomous operation, does not require a permanently connected phone, does not depend on the smartphone’s operating system.
When learning to drive, significant data is collected that can later be used for both improvement and control.
